Clint Eastwood and the Chair

I finally got a chance to watch the Clint Eastwood speech. I hate to say this, but it kinda reminded me of an AA meeting. You get some old timer up there at the podium, and he starts going on about smoking crack with Mexican prostitutes and drinking Shasta. And you’re sitting in your chair thinking, is there a point to this? And at the very end, he’ll turn to the other members and say, Don’t Drink, One Day at A Time. Oh, so that was point.

This speech was a little bit like that. But I’m not even sure Mr. Eastwood was even endorsing Romney. I think he just wanted to point out that he (and the other 1% in the audience) own this country. And I think he wanted to pick a fight with a chair.
