I know that my blog doesn’t reach a lot of people, but I wanted to make a plug for giving to the Episcopal Relief and Development in response to the cyclone in Myanmar and the earthquake in China. Churches are often the first responders in these situations because the local church is already in the region and can mobilize quickly. They can open the church doors for shelter, and can use their connections with the locals in order to get aid in. I used to work for the Episcopal Church when the tsunami hit Sri Lanka. Most agencies had a hard time with the government, but aid sent through the church was able to bypass them and get to the diocese and then to the local churches were it was distributed.
I know what you are probably thinking, Episcopalians in China? Yes. If the British colonized them, were there.
Here is a link if you are interested. Give a little. Like you really need another pair of shoes….

Great call. I’ll be linking over as well.
Thanks googie.
Thanks Keri!
Yay, another Episcopalian. Go us! I’ll click over tomorrow (payday). Thanks for the link.
