I am not going to call my father anymore.
I called today because its Father’s Day.
Honestly, he’s so drunk when I call I can’t imagine that he even remembers. And its impossible to hold a conversation. I just end up upset.
I actually have been making a lot of decisions about my family. I have a couple [...]

Marriage confers important benefits such as hospital visitations and inheritance rights on a couple. And though those things are important, [...]

I know the democratic leadership is working very hard. So hard, in fact, that I think the next baby will have to be named Deval, Salvador or Therese.

Lil’ guy is having day surgery tomorrow. Nothing serious. He is getting tubes in his ears. Seems he has some fluid built up and they are afraid it’s affecting his hearing. I am going to be with him for his anesthesia. I am really nervous about seeing this. However, I think his frequent earaches are [...]

..is that we don’t have the votes. I am going to follow my esteemed blogging peers Mass Marrier and Ryan Adams and asked that you call Senator Therese Murray, and asked that she kill the amendment by any means possible. As the senate president, it is within her power to preserve equality
Here is her information:

It’s that time again. We are a few weeks away from the Massachusetts Constitutional Convention where they will vote on an amendment to ban gay marriage. They only need 50 votes for the amendment to proceed to the ballot.
That means its time for me to get to work. I have signed up to do phone [...]
